As a mom of two (and almost three) I need to do things to save time - which I don't nearly have enough of. I try and find simple time saving tips I can do to make my days a little easier, without driving myself nutty!
Here are some of my favorite time saving tips.
Set up the programmable coffee maker the night before. This is actually a double whammy. Not only does it save time, but it means my husband doesn't go to Starbucks with his work buddies, so it saves us money too.
Not separating our clothes from the kids clothes while doing laundry. Yes, I'll keep the baby's clothes separate when s/he is born. but honestly? T-shirts are t-shirts, jeans are jeans. No need to separate the loads.
Frozen pizza. Yeah yeah, I know I can make it from scratch, but 18 minutes in the oven for Sunday night dinner saves time. It's once a week and gosh darnit, it is what it is.
On Demand. If you have cable you'll never (hopefully) have to watch a commercial again.
Grocery Delivery. I'm really spoiled to have Amazon Fresh here in Seattle. For starters, it's pretty competitively priced. And what is marked up? Meh. The time I DON'T have to go to the store, wait in line, and stop the cashiers from putting meat on top of my fresh vegetables? Well worth it!
