No time to cook Easter dinner? Try HoneyBaked Ham!

It seems over the past few holidays when I’ve had a lot of cooking to do, one of the kids brings home something from school and I get sick. It doesn’t seem fair. Granted, I’m just cooking for our little family but it still puts a damper on things. This year though, I’m planning ahead and ordering my Easter dinner from HoneyBaked Ham. I’m a southern girl at heart, so I love ham. Especially when it means ham sandwiches as left overs!

We did our trial run of our #HoneyBakedEaster right before I left for Disney Social Media Moms last week. It was so easy. Our local HoneyBaked Ham store in Bellevue has a ridiculous (in a good way) selection of hams, turkeys and sides to create the perfect Easter dinner. I have to admit, I may have gone a little overboard with the sides. It’s such a great value, it was hard not to.

Can I just tell you much I loved the convenience of picking up everything I needed for dinner, right down to the spicy brown mustard and bring it home and stick it in the oven? We’re talking dinner in an hour people. Without all the prep. This is a double win. Win number one: More time with my family. Win number two: I was feeling pretty crummy so it was nice to have little to no prep and still have an amazingly delicious meal.

Ready for the shocker? Sebby,my discretionary 6 year old even enjoyed it.Folks, this never happens. Then again, it’s really hard to resist Orange Walnut Sweet Potatoes! I may have to stop by from time to time just to get the favorite sides for the kids!

The only sad thing? It was really way too much food for our family of two adults and two and a half kids. We didn’t make it through all the food and with me going out of town, well, you know how that goes. So yes, it’s a lot of food, and you will need to plan accordingly for Easter dinner. (we’ll invite friends next time).

I cannot wait to have another delicious HoneyBaked meal – it’s nice to have someone else do the food prep!

So, do the sides come pre-packaged or do ou tell them how much you would like? I would have a problem with a shop that sells sides- they’re my downfall!
