Disney provided me with a trip to Los Angeles to cover the Thor 2: The Dark World event and film. Most expenses were paid however all thoughts and experiences are my own.

When the email first landed in my inbox inviting me to the Hollywood premiere of Thor 2: The Dark World at The El Capitan Theater I was stoked. What a way to rock my inner fan girl world.  So this past Monday I got to walk the red carpet with some other fabulous bloggers and even hang out a bit with Tom Hiddleston, Zachary Levi and Jaimie Alexander. How cool is that?

Unlike my Delivery Man experience the previous night, this one was chaos! It was non-stop action – with fans and celebrities AMOK! AMOK! One would have to wonder if Loki was behind it all. :) But I still managed to steal a moment for a photo opp on the red carpet.

Not surprising, I had a great time, and I highly recommend that seeing Thor 2: The Dark World be on your list of things to do this weekend but…

Before you head out to see Thor 2: The Dark World you’ll want to do the following.

1.) Watch Thor.

2.) Watch The Avengers.

It’s pretty important you do that in order. You’ll miss some good inside jokes and things will just make more sense in general.

Then head over to youtube and watch Tom Hiddleston do some impressions of other actors as Loki. It’s not that the impressions will give you any insight into Thor 2, it’s just that they are fun and witty.

Now, I obviously don’t want to give you any spoilers but I’m going to say Thor 2: The Dark World was epic. Edge of your seats, lots of action and as always, a fabulous Marvel story. Will Thor save Earth and all the Nine Realms? Will he he join forces with Loki to bring down Malekith?

There are some great “easter eggs” through-out and as always a cameo appearance by Stan Lee. You’ll want to make sure you stay for the credits. ALL THE WAY THROUGH. Twice. Both sets of credits. That’s all I will say about that.
