They carry school shoes (for public or private schools) all year round—so no worries if your kiddo’s has a massive growth spurt after the second grading period. Owner Christina Rodriguez makes sure your child’s precious feet are properly fitted in whatever brand of shoes you choose—whether Stride Rite, Pedipeds, Toke, Puma or more. Fortunately, there’s plenty of room for kids to walk and jump around to test out their new kicks. While you’re there, pick up some adorable hair “doo-dads”, clips and headbands featuring colorful characters made from ribbon or featuring your schools’ colors. Check out the clearance table where current overstocked styles go for $20! I got some darling Aster brand red Mary Janes for my now-first grader on super sale for $20 (regularly $65)! Metered street parking can be tricky during lunchtime; I recommend going earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon.
