Sometimes things don’t go as planned. Not once, but maybe one and a half times. One of the hardest things about being a mom is finding the time to get together with your girlfriends. Between childcare and spouses and sniffles something tends to get in the way. So when the first attempt was made to get some girlfriends together for some pampering with NIVEA spa party, it didn’t go as planned.
Since I had already picked up treats and NIVEA at Sam’s Club, I planned round two. I invited a few friends over (with the kiddos this time) for a Mom and Me Spa party, complete with foot soak, to enjoy some treats, indulgence, and a new Disney movie!
My friend Jill brought her daughters over, and equipped with their juice boxes, the unanimous decision was made to watch Secret of the Wings and play with My Little Ponies (the kids, not Jill and I!) of course, this meant that I could make sure Jill, a well deserving friend and mama, was well pampered.
Jill and I both agreed that the NIVEA Sam’s Club value of the bottles of lotion was amazing. So much lotion for such a great price! Just for fun, I picked up a bottle of NIVEA body wash at the store so we could have foot soaks – Jill showed me her poor feet – she’s always on the go so she really earned a few minutes of relaxation while her daughters watched a movie and played.
Makes you want to soak your tootsies, doesn’t it? To finish her soak, Jill moisturized her feet with the NIVEA Essentially Enriched lotion, after checking out the ingredients of course!
Even though it was just Jill and I in the end, along with her daughters, I loved how easy it was to have a little girlfriend time with Sam’s Club lotion, some delicious snacks and a movie, without breaking my budget! Sometimes simple and low key is the most pampering and relaxing!
