Need help choosing a wine? Check out the CWC food and wine pairing wheel!

I’m not much of a wine connoisseur. I’m not even much of a wine dabbler. Okay, so I need all the help I can get. So when I was offered the chance to check out the The California Wine Club food and wine pairing wheel app for my iPhone, I readily accepted.

From popcorn (Chardonnay) to deep fried twinkies (Champagne) to Smoked Salmon (Pinot Noir) or Rack of Lamb (Cabernet Sauvignon) this handy little app will be your new best friend whether you are at a  5 star restaurant with a wine list that is a mile long to your neighborhood grocery store’s sparse wine aisle.

It will also encourage you to try new pairings – perfect for me, the wine newbie. I’m sure my husband will appreciate it when I come home with a different bottle of wine than the same bottle of syrah or riesling I grab off the shelf. Wine pairing on the go – it couldn’t be easier!

I’m so excited to try out some of the wine pairings and learn more about wines. I definitely got some new ideas!

If you want to try out the new CWC food and wine pairing wheel, it’s available FREE at the iTunes store for a limited time, so be sure to download it today! You must be at least 17 years old to download this app.

Disclaimer: I received an invitation to review this app as part of a series of reviews about the California Wine Club. I did not receive monetary compensation for this post and the opinions here are my own.

  1. [...] Alan and I are really looking forward to next months shipment and the wines that will be delivered to our door! (That’s almost the best part!) We will plan a little better and have a pairing to enjoy (you know, like chocolate!)!! What’s really fun is that the California Wine Club even has a iPhone app to help with wine pairings. It’s free for a limited time, so you’ll want to download it now. You can read more about our thoughts on it here. [...]
