I must have driven buy the Pharmaca in Wallingford hundreds of times. I’d never been inside until last week, and little did I know it was more than a place to buy supplements. It also had fancy chocolate, tasty energy drinks and organic baby items – an amazing selection of health and wellness products. What have I been missing?!

The Pharmaca Story

At a time when health care costs are rising and employer-provided coverage is shrinking, Pharmaca is happy to be your everyday health resource. We provide easy access to credentialed pharmacists, naturopathic doctors, nutritionists, herbalists and more so you can achieve good health without an appointment, insurance or headache.

Since 2000, Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy has offered traditional pharmacy services alongside holistic remedies so customers can choose how they want to approach their health care (learn more about our history). Our staff of certified practitioners helps guide customers through our selection of over-the-counter medications, alternative remedies, and natural cosmetics and body care products for a stress-free shopping experience.

I was blown away within minutes of walking into Pharmaca. Clearly I had NO idea. Not only did they have ALL of the supplements I use (including the ones my naturopath suggests) but they have an amazing selection of natural beauty care, baby products and even my favorite glass water bottle from Life Factory. I even found out I could get straw caps for the bottles on my shopping trip! Awesome!

Right now, Pharmaca is in five states, including Washington. You can find great resources, in-store events, including Healthy Living Events the month of October (which I can’t wait to check out) and lots of knowledgable people. Plus, you can check them out (and shop) online too!

I’m so glad I FINALLY discovered Pharmaca. I feel like it’s no longer a secret and I’ll be going there for my place to buy supplements and so much more.

I didn’t wait till New Years to create diet and exercise resolutions I could stick to. Thanks to a “junk email” that caught my attention, I started a healthy two protein shake a day plus dinner diet that is showing excellent results by jazzing up my very sluggish metabolism. It was great to get a 9 pound loss the first week, and hoping this Northwest weekend won’t be too bad outside so I can go on my first nice long outdoor walk in ages…with filled water bottle, of course!

I would try the Superior Source No Shot Vitamin B12, B6 & Folic Acid 30 tablets if I won I am thinking this would give me the boost I need to have a little more energy to get through the day.
