Last week Quincy shared her love of LeapFrog and their new LeapReader with her developmental preschool class at Viewlands Elementary. Thanks to MomSelect, we were generously providing an amazing assortment of LeapReaders and activities, the pre-kindergartners. All opinions and experiences are our own.
LeapReader is the complete learn-to-read-and-write solution. LeapReader engages kids in imaginative stories with lively character voices while building vocabulary skills and growing reading comprehension skills. Interactive handwriting guidance helps children learn to write on special mess-free paper. Plus, LeapReader helps develop listening comprehension skills with audio books. LeapReader Class Party Fun
It goes without saying that pictures say a thousand words. The kids couldn’t have been more excited about the LeapReaders and activities. I even sent in special “Reading Rollup” snacks for them to enjoy (tortillas with cream cheese and jelly)
They read Monster’s Inc in 3d. Don’t they all look so cute in their special glasses? (even their teacher!)
“The kids were able to use it independent of any instruction and were able to get educational benefits from it.”- Laurel Balf-Johnson, Viewlands Elementary
“It was great to see how it engaged so many different types of learners at once.” – Laurel Balf-Johnson, Viewlands Elementary
They wrote letters in shaving cream while listening to ABC’s on the LeapReader. Writing in shaving cream is a great sensory activity for kids!
They took the fun outside. That’s how awesome the LeapReader is. It’s learning on the go! That’s what I love about LeapFrog, it really does encourage play!
I want to thank LeapFrog and Mom Select for working with me to bring this opportunity to my daughter’s classroom. I know that them having this LeapReader Class Party made a difference for the kids and they had a lot of fun! I plan on donating additional LeapReader books to the classroom so the learning can continue.
