We’re no stranger to the Joovy of family. Our love started with the Joovy Kooper on a trip to Las Vegas in 2010. Three years later, and I needed a stroller for a trip to Chicago. Two main criteria were that it needed to be lightweight and suitable for an infant. The Joovy Groove Ultralight was the answer.

Why I love the Joovy Groove Ultralight!

The first thing that struck me with the Joovy Groove Ultralight I received for my trip was the AWESOME color. Purpleness. It’s vibrant and noticeable and my little guy just rocks it! There’s no missing us in this lightweight stroller. It’s going to make Joovy Spotting in Chicago easy.

Friends, fun and Joovy!

Edison totally fits in at this fun spa and fashion event. He is so stylish, don’t you think?

I also love how LIGHTWEIGHT the Joovy Groove Ultralight is. There were several events in Chicago that weren’t so accessible. Luckily, since it weighs just over 12 pounds it wasn’t too cumbersome for me to lift Edison AND the stroller and carry it up or down a few steps. (I did have help and I wouldn’t recommend doing this on a regular basis or by yourself)

Like all of my Joovy strollers the Joovy Groove Ultralight also has a very generous canopy. Even though I live in Seattle (insert it rains all the time jokes here) I really love the extra sun protection the canopy offers. Not only the canopy help protect Edison’s sensitive newish born skin, it also keeps the sun out of his eyes so he can NAP. Which brings me to my next favorite feature.

The recline. Unlimited recline positions to 149 degrees. Know what this means? Nap. And Edison napped. And he napped. Having an umbrella stroller that my little guy could nap in while I wheeled him all over Chicago? Fantastic.

I wish I got a photo of his adorable napping pose, but this one will have to do…

Other things I love about my new stroller? It’s easy to fold and carry, even with a baby. It has a great storage pocket underneath AND inside the stroller – once Edison gets bigger he’ll have a place to store his sippy and his toys! Pretty cool. All around? It’s a real win!

I’ll definitely be using the Ultralight around Seattle, but I’m really looking forward to putting it to the test on our next trip! Disneyland anyone?

I just love that stroller! The purple color was so awesome, and I loved how easily it could steer, even one-handed. That is a must, right? And you’re right, I’m so glad it was so light when we had to get sweet E up the stairs. :) love the pics.
