I’m admitting to wearing skinny jeans @LeeJeansUS #LeeFindYourFit

Despite the the fashion industry deems my body type “perfect” for jeggings and skinny jeans, I still feel at times like it’s two chicken legs sticking out from a top. Part of the problem is that many skinny jeans have no business being beyond their initial sketchpad.

Since I had success with Lee Jeans and a pair of amazing khakis earlier this year, I reached out to them before heading to BlogHer in August. I asked if I might wear a pair of jeans from their new fall line to NYC and beyond. I wanted something cute, fashionable and affordable and I knew Lee Jeans could all of these things.

Lee Jeans graciously said YES, and went even further to provide jeans for the other 4 Noise Girls that were going to BlogHer too. Needless to say, we were all pretty happy.

I looked over the Look Book for fall, and let me tell you, there were some C.U.T.E. choices. Adorable. I decided since I was going to NYC I had to step out of my comfort zone and chose the Gold Label Piper Jegging. I liked the zipper accents on the ankle and I don’t think I’d worn a pair of jeans like that since sometime in the late 80′s. Why not right?

The Piper Jeggings arrived at my door a few weeks later and they were a perfect fit. They hugged all the right places without being too tight and the stretch in them made it easy to move. The most exciting part? I didn’t feel like I had chicken legs!

They also look AMAZING with the cuffs turned up and worn with my Dansko boots.

Can you say win win?

As usual, Lee Jeans continues to impress and be my favorite jeans.

Here’s the fun part, some of my fellow Noise Girls and I are offering chances to enter to win a pair of Lee Jeans! Stay tuned!

Disclosure: I received a pair of Lee Jeans in exchange for this post. No other compensation was received and the opinions here are my own.
