I can’t tell you when I had my first taste of Summer Sausage from Hickory Farms. Probably at some relatives house on Thanksgiving or Christmas, sliced up on a platter of smoked cheeses, table water crackers, grapes and those meltaway mints. Now, as a  “grown-up” Hickory Farms is one of my holiday entertaining staples.

With a wide variety of gift packs to choose from, including just buying a few sticks of Summer Sausage, it’s an easy hostess gift, or the fixins for a last minute party tray.

In fact, I have a whole box of Hickory Farms goodness to enjoy tomorrow as I cook my family Thanksgiving dinner. I’m sure it won’t last long – with all of it’s deliciousness!

My favorite thing is the yummy food… and even if I don’t eat it, my favorite prepared ‘food’ is a gingerbread house!
