These official rules govern the Like Us. Win an iPad. I Am The Maven Facebook Fan Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) sponsored by I Am The Maven, Inc. (the “Sponsor”) and are binding.

PARTICIPATION:

No purchase necessary to enter. Only one (1) winner per Facebook Account. Participant(s) and winner(s) must be legal US residents at least 18 years old as of 2/01/11 and reside in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Sponsor reserves the right to refuse to award a prize to or on behalf of any minor. Winners are subject to verification by Sponsor of the winner's name, age, address, home phone number and work/cell phone number. If a winner is disqualified, Sponsor reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or to not award that winner's prize at all. Employees and independent contractors of Sponsor and members of the immediate families of such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term "immediate family" includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents and grandchildren, and any other person residing at the same household whether or not related. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited and is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The contest starts February 28, 2011 and ends when 2,500 people have become fans of I Am The Maven on Facebook. You must remain a fan or follower until the end of the contest to be eligible to win. When you become a fan on Facebook, you are agreeing to the rules and regulations of the contest.  

PRIZES:

There will be a total of one (1) prize available to be won. Prize consists of one (1) 16 GB Wi-Fi iPad, which will be shipped directly to the winners. Prize is determined by Sponsor and must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable. One entry per person. Creating multiple accounts on Facebook to enter multiple times will automatically disqualify you from the contest. Only one (1) prize may be awarded per person.

DRAW:  

A random draw will be conducted at the end of the contest, which will take place when 2,500 people have become fans of Sponsor on Facebook.  Each drawing Winner will be notified in private, via email, phone or Facebook message. If any Winner notification remains unanswered for more than forty-eight (48) hours, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety. It is the Entrant’s sole responsibility to contact the Sponsor to collect Prize. Once Winner confirms his/her status as an eligible winner, Sponsor will announce Winner via Sponsor’s Facebook Account. Winner will be drawn randomly from among all eligible entries received on or before the date the contest closes. Odds of being selected are dependent on the total number of eligible entries received from the beginning of the contest to when 2,500 people have become fans of Sponsor on Facebook. Winners will be contacted via e-mail and will be asked to provide their first and last names, e-mail address, and mailing address (P.O. Boxes are not permitted).

GIVEAWAY CONDITIONS:

All decisions are final. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, or misdirected entries, or for any failure of the web site during this contest, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, services, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or the web site or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s, or any other person’s computer, related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. Any attempt to deliberately damage the web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of Criminal and Civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered, or tampered with in any way. Sponsor reserves the right to change the terms of this contest, or terminate it at any time, without prior notice. Please allow at least 4–6 weeks for the delivery of the prizes to the winners. The winners are responsible for any taxes and fees associated with the receipt or use of their prize.

No correspondence regarding the contest will be entered into, unless determined by Sponsor, except with the selected entrants who will be notified by Facebook on the accounts they used to enter the contest. Entrants, by entering this contest, agree to abide by these contest rules and the decisions of Sponsor. Contest winners must consent to the use of their name or photograph, without compensation, in any future publicity carried out by Sponsor in connection with this or any similar contest.

PUBLICITY.

Sponsor reserves the right to use the Selected Contestant name, likeness and hometown name for publicity purposes only in connection with the Sweepstakes and for no other reason.

PRIVACY.

All personal information collected by Sponsor will be used for administration of the Sweepstakes and in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy. Any questions regarding privacy matters should be directed to the address set out below.
