Ever since FROZEN the movie came out last November, it’s been all the rage with Quincy and her girlfriends at school. Their teacher, Miss Laurel, tells me they sing “Let it Go” on a continuous basis. They love it so much, she uses it as an incentive for them to get their work done. Pretty brilliant right?
Quincy absolutely loves FROZEN. We waited in line for TWO HOURS to meet Anna and Elsa at Disneyland in January. She’s dedicated. Her room is a FROZEN explosion. And there is no end in sight. Elsa and Anna bedding, Elsa and Anna dolls, a rogue Sven… the only thing we are missing? A plush Olaf toy. In the kitchen she has cups, plates, even a FROZEN fork and spoon.
The school year starts in a few weeks (eep, right?) and I thought it’d be fun for Quincy to get together with one of her gal pals. Quincy’s friend Miss C came over the other day for lunch.
And then I surprised them with a FROZEN playdate! Little did the girls know I had shopped and bought them both FROZEN gifts for back to school. I was so excited to find notebooks, folders, stickers and even matching t-shirts. (Those by the way, were a total score and hard to find!)
Quincy has it pretty great when it comes to FROZEN, but she’s also in that all about me phase, so I wanted her to share an act of love with one of her friends and share some FROZEN goodies. Needless to say, the girls were verrrry excited!
Wouldn’t you be? An OLAF spiral notebook? That is just the coolest!
The girls agreed.
In fact, they were so thrilled and surprised, they couldn’t open their gifts fast enough, it was so cute!
Did I mention the girls were so excited about seeing each other after the entire summer, they didn’t even notice our little playdate had special guests?
Whoa! Anna and Elsa came! So cool! The girls were in awe! We took lots of pictures!
Since all good #FROZENfun must come to an end, the girls did have to say goodbye. They had a wonderful time sharing FROZEN and playing together.
By the way, if you want to have a FROZEN playdate of your own and share FROZEN, head to Walmart. They have a fabulous selection of items. Clothes, toys, back to school supplies, posters, stickers and more! I’ve actually seen adorable color your own purses since I went to get the back to school gifts for the girls. So so sweet.
