You’ll FLIP (in a good way) over the Flip UltraHD Video Camera. This tiny camcorder packs a lot of punch in about the size of an old Nokia cell phone. With a 4GB built in flash Memory, it records about an hour of your toddlers stumbles, your vlog about cooking or your teenagers skateboarding tricks (and a whole lot more) The Flip Video Ultra HD records at 30fps in HD720p resolution in MP4 file format.

Why do I love the Flip Video?

1.)  It tucks into my pocket, takes up minimal space in my diaper bag or purse.

2.)  It’s EASY to use. Just turn it on, press record and you are in business. You can even zoom in and out easily.

3.)  It takes 2 AA batteries OR you can buy a rechargeable battery pack (which I ordered the same day my FlipVideo arrived)

4.)  It’s super simple to download new movies – you just FLIP out the usb plug and plug it into your computer (if you use the rechargeable battery pack this is how you charge it too)

I received the Flip Video for free as part of a BzzAgent campaign the same day we were headed to a birthday party full of 3 year olds. It was perfect timing. It’s small size allowed me to carry my daughter and film my son and his friends while filming with ease. It was great, and it allowed me to catch some fun moments because it was so easy to use.

Sadly, just a few days ago Cisco decided to pull the plug on this handy little gadget a few days ago. I guess I better get a cover for it now, instead of later! I’m not sure how long support will last, from the report I’ve read, they are still offering it, for the time being. So if you want a fun little video recorder, check them out, before they are gone.
