If you’re anything like me, you’ll be avoiding the mall on Black Friday. Cripes, I’ll probably be avoiding the malls in general during the holiday season. It’s just too much chaos.

Holiday Shopping Idea

I’ve started early. Thankfully, I have the Internet to turn to. Online shopping and Pinerest are helping me simplify (sort of) my holiday shopping. I’ve spent a lot of time over the years scouring eBay.com for fun things that I can no longer find in stores: old camera equipment, clothing kids toys.  With NEW and Buy-It-Now options, I don’t even have to mess with bidding! In fact, there are so many choices that I decided to browse through (which is always more than a quick moment) and come up with some gift ideas for my friends and family. I also love that I can watch items – it makes it easy to browse around, check prices and collect some ideas.

So what’s on my list? Here’s some of my gift buying inspiration. Now since friends and family (expect for the cat) read my blog, these are just ideas. This elf is too smart for that.

My eBay Gift Guide

For Hubby: Snowboard Wall Display
For Sebby:  Disney Cars Radiator Springs Curio Playset (don’t think I’m crazy here, this is a WISH list, remember?)
For Quincy: Melissa and Doug Shopping Cart
For 3.0: Changing Table & Crib Set
For Milo (the kitten): Lotus Luxury Cat Tower (if only!)
For Leanne: Tree of Life Scarf
For Mariah: Coupon Binders (this is a joke, BTW)
For Mom: iPad Mini
For the house:  a breakfast nook
For ME!: Panasonic Bread Maker

See what I mean? A really amazing selection! And if I found all of that, can you only imagine what else there is to discover? eBay is NOTHING like it was when I first joined 12 years ago. You can find everything your hearts desire. It’s amazing.

Simple to use.

eBay makes it so easy – I love that I can check out using Paypal – which means I use cash on hand so I don’t overspend. That’s music to my bank accounts ears. But don’t fret, you can use your credit cards too, I just prefer not to have an ugly bill in January!

The ease doesn’t stop at Paypal.  It’s also very easy to browse the eBay mobile app, anywhere, anytime. (As long as you a have a signal, obviously!) The app has great features like searching by category, local searches, daily deals and a Holiday Top Toys list. You can even connect the eBay mobile app with Facebook.
