Summer Salad: Eating well with Tyson #GrilledAndReady #Cbias

Summer time is here and I’m looking for easy and fresh recipes to prepare for my family. This post is sponsored by Collective Bias and thanks to Tyson Foods, I’ve come up with an easy Summer Salad using their Grilled and Ready Chicken Breast Strips.

Earlier this week, after I got Sebby and Quincy off to school, Edison and I decided to head up to the Walmart Neighborhood Market in Lynnwood to check it out (I’d never been there before) and pick up some things, including Tyson Grilled and Ready Chicken to make a Summer Salad.

The Neighborhood Market was actually really nice and I found it easy to find everything I needed to make dinner – I can’t always say that when I go to the store. Even though it’s a smaller grocery store, the selection was pretty good. It really felt like I was in a “neighborhood market” and not in one of the countries largest supermarket chains!

Despite the fact that we had temps in the 80′s not to long ago, it’s been chilly around here so I was wanting some versatile menu options that would make it FEEL like summer even if it was chilly outside. In addition to wanting a simple recipe for summer, my husband Alan and I are trying to put more focus on eating well and living healthy. It’s actually not so hard if you just take a little time to plan. The easy recipe I came up with does just that. It’s just four ingredients, so even after a busy day it’s very easy to put together!

Summer Salad starts with just four ingredients. Simple. Easy. Fresh.

Since my lettuce and tomatoes  in my garden aren’t quite ready yet, I picked some up, along with some Feta cheese. Who doesn’t love Feta? This easy summer salad was as easy as rinsing the veggies, rough chopping the tomato and heating up the chicken in a skillet on my stove. It’s what I call a real win for eating well. Dinner was ready and on the table in under 10 minutes. Now that’s what I call easy!
