Since 2011, my blogging conference fashion style has always incorporated Dansko shoes. This past weekend was no different, so I have to give a big thank you to Dansko Footwear for sending me a rockin’ pair of sandals to wear this spring.

Finding Your Blogging Conference Style

FInding your blogging conference style depends on a lot of factors. Your personality, the time of year, the location of the conference and even the type of conference.  I can assure you there are probably hundreds of posts written on conference fashion and style.

Some people will tell you to wear what is comfortable. I say wear what you feel comfortable in. Find something that looks great and makes you feel good. So if that’s a favorite sweater and jeans, fantastic. If it’s a pretty dress and your favorite jacket that works too.

I’m a jeans girl. There is no question. But lately I’ve been trying to step up my game a little bit. A friend turned me onto ModCloth last summer and I’ll be the first to tell you I know have a ModCloth dress problem. In all fairness, this dress that I wore in San Diego is CUTE right? Since it was a little chilly I paired it with a cardi  from Target(which of course you really can’t see) and my favorite corduroy jacket from Prana. Also almost hidden from view is a leather crossbody clutch that I just love.

For me though, no great outfit is complete without a kickass pair of shoes. Often, that’s a pair of RED shoes. I bought my first pair of Dansko clogs in 2009. I admit this brand of shoes dominates my footwear collection. I have boots, sandals, clogs, mules, you name it. They are one of the few pairs of shoes that I can slip on and they fit and feel like I’ve been wearing them for years, even if I haven’t.

The latest addition to my show collection is the Felicia Sandal. This versatile sandal features a ankle strap and wedge heel – it’s a perfect pairing to nearly anything – jeans, dresses, shorts… You’d never know I’m rocking a 3 1/2″ heel would you? The contoured cork footbed is crazy comfortable – not unlike the rest of the Dansko shoes I own.

In addition to feeling really great this weekend in a fun dress and fabulous shoes, my friend Danielle from Simmworks Family took these photos of me so I could show them off. Thanks Danielle!

One more thing, I’ll be giving away a pair of Dansko shoes from their spring collection during the Spring Fashionista Giveaway Event, which starts on March 6! There are over 100 participating blogs and lots of amazing FASHION prizes, so you won’t want to miss it!

Having comfortable shoes at a conference is a must, and Dansko is great at comfort and style. I just love that beautiful red color and the detailing of those wedges!

I’m wondering if your review is fortuitous. I was JUST looking up Dansko shoes because I’m so tired of my feet hurting so much if I’m up and walking around for a large part of the day. I googled, “most comfortable shoes”, and one of the names mentioned was Dansko. I would love to try these shoes out to see if they are as comfortable as everyone says they are!

I like these, but my favorite from Dansko are the Sonnet Shimmer Suede Leather Black Shimmer sandals. All of their shoes look comfy.
